3D SCAN

With the use of state-of-the-art technologies, IPE offers the 3D laser scanning service with LiDAR technology. This technology allows to obtain millimetric precision when collecting information from the surface and facilities.

WHAT DOES THE 3D SCANNER ALLOW?

The 3D scanner has different functionalities, from obtaining information from the surface, knowing the dimensions of the equipment in industrial facilities, taking measurements of a building or creating a digital representation of industrial infrastructure, all in a much shorter time than required by the traditional methods and with an exponentially higher level of detail.

Surveys

The 3D scanner enables the design team to have a level of detail of facilities that cannot be obtained by traditional methods. This avoids possible rework due to the absence of some detail not obtained in the visit to the site.

As-Built

To build 3D digital models of finished projects, 3D laser scanning allows the end client to obtain an exact representation of the construction with a level of detail of less than 5 millimeters, which is very useful for future projects.

Quality inspection

In the case of supervision of a work, the 3D scanner provides the supervision team with real representations of the site in much less time, which allows to control that it is being built according to what is designed.

Heritage preservation

The 3D laser scanner allows cultural institutions to have digital replicas of heritage, without the need for intrusive practices. This is of great value when having to restore historic buildings in the future.
